Work Experience

I began working for the Board of Education October 2, 1967 and worked there until I retired in 2005.

After retiring, the school system contracted with me to Coordinate the Heads Up After School Program. During that time, we created the Saturday Fun Day Program, which was a huge success.

I was the Coordinator of the Calhoun County Family Resource Network for three years. During that time we worked with many agencies and community organizations to meet the needs of the county. During that time we had our first Community Baby Shower. We also visited another county to gain knowledge on how they served their community regarding Christmas. That was the beginning of Christmas Connection.
